Most entrepreneurs, startups and small businesses get so involved in day-to-day operations, that they forget to step back and look at the “big picture”. During the first six months after crowdSPRING launched, we too fell into this trap.

    I really enjoy these posts. I’m in the process of starting up my own website and would be interested in knowing more about how Crowdspring got their VC backing. in particular, where’s the best place to find VC funding, what you need to prepare and what are the main things they look for?

    Nick – thanks for stopping by. We raised $3 million in 2007 from mostly non-traditional angel investors. We decided not to seek VC funding when we first started fundraising.
