You have to be able and willing to fail in order to take risks. But there are two kinds of failure, and only one of them is meaningful. I discuss the difference in this short video.
Overcoming the fear of failure is not easy. But those who have persevered through failure have accomplished many great things.

Ross, I do enjoy your videos and insights on various business topics. As a lawyer/entreprenuer could you possible adress how one protects an idea. I to believe that this recession has sparked a call to action to pursue an idea or passion. I think many would benefit from your particular view point on this topic.
Thanks and keep em coming.

Thanks very much for the kind words, John. I’ve added your suggestion to the list of topics and will be sure to cover it in upcoming weeks.
Hi Ross,
Another great post! As a startup run by two young entrepreneurs, we teeter on making new mistakes all the time. We try to do the right thing the first time so we don’t have to experience that bitter taste of failure. However, when we do make mistakes, we always seem to walk away stronger. Thanks again.
